By accessing or using Seal-A-Doc ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of Seal-A-Doc after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Seal-A-Doc provides an electronic document signing platform that allows users to create, send, sign, and manage documents electronically. The Service includes features such as signature field placement, multi-party signing workflows, audit trails, templates, and document storage.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts to use Seal-A-Doc. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
Electronic signatures created through Seal-A-Doc are intended to be legally binding under the U.S. Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN), the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA), and equivalent laws in other jurisdictions. You are solely responsible for ensuring that electronic signatures are appropriate and enforceable for your specific use case. Seal-A-Doc does not provide legal advice.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@sealadoc.com if you suspect unauthorized access. You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of third parties without authorization.
You agree not to use Seal-A-Doc to: (a) send fraudulent or deceptive documents; (b) forge signatures or impersonate other individuals; (c) violate any applicable law or regulation; (d) transmit harmful, abusive, or illegal content; or (e) attempt to reverse-engineer or compromise the security of the platform. Violation of this policy may result in immediate account termination.
Paid plans are billed on a monthly basis. One-time envelope credit packs do not expire. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law. The current subscription requires at least the first paid renewal before cancellation is available; eligible cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' advance notice.
Your use of Seal-A-Doc is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We process your data as described therein. You retain ownership of all documents you upload and sign through Seal-A-Doc.
All intellectual property in the Seal-A-Doc platform — including software, design, trademarks, and logos — is owned by Seal-A-Doc and its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without written permission.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Seal-A-Doc shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Upon termination, your data may be retained for up to 90 days before deletion.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of San Francisco County, California.
